GENERAL COURSE DESCRIPTION

COURSE 3 DESCRIPTION
This module examines the effectiveness of internal control systems, explores the exposure of banks to the dangers of default as a result of internal control systems, and establishes a relationship between internal controls and credit risk.

The primary objective is to ensure proper management of the credit function within the bank’s credit risk appetite, while maintaining quality risk assets, protecting the earnings and capital of the Institution.
